TULSA, OK -- The second suspect wanted in connection with the attempted abduction of a 3-year-old boy at Tulsa's Maple Park has been arrested.

Forty-four-year-old Gary Keefer was arrested Thursday morning and booked into the Tulsa County jail on a larceny complaint.

The other man involved in the incident, 42-year-old Mitchell Keith, was arrested near the park late Monday night.

The park is located near 15th Street and Detroit Avenue.

Tulsa Police say the mother was approached by two men on Monday.

She says those men made threatening remarks about abducting the boy and killing him. She says Keefer then grabbed the boy, but the mother began fighting with the men and managed to get away with her son and run to safety.
