Members of Booker T. Washington Football Team Assist at Food Bank

TULSA---Members of the Booker T. Washington football team volunteered their time this morning to pack boxes of food at the Eastern Oklahoma Community Food Bank.

‘We've been overwhelmed in last couple of days with volunteers,' said Cindy Stevens, the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Eastern Oklahoma Food Bank, ‘we've got an incredible amount of work done, yesterday we did over 3,000 boxes of food.

‘We're trying to support the community that supports us,' said Darrell Hall, Head Coach for the Booker T. Washington football team, ‘we're trying to give a helping hand to people who need a helping hand.'
