UNDATED -- Eight people died in car accidents on Oklahoma roads over the July 4th holiday weekend, according to a news release Tuesday from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said two victims in those fatalities were not wearing seatbelts.
OHP said troopers investigated six fatal collisions.
Of the nearly 200 total collisions, OHP said 15 were alcohol-related. Troopers made 86 DUI arrests.
The reporting period for the statistics was Friday, July 2, through Monday, July 5th.
