Claremore Man Killed In Collision

ROGERS COUNTY -- A Claremore man is dead following a crash Friday evening in Rogers County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports 36-year-old James Lee Anderson is dead following the collision shortly before 6:00 p.m. on State Highway 20 Eastbound at 150th East Avenue.

Troopers report that a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 22-year-old Andrew James Koon of Owasso, failed to yield while making a left-hand turn from 150th East Avenue onto State Highway 20.

Anderson's 1998 Harley Davidson struck the vehicle on the driver's side, according to an OHP report.

OHP reports Anderson was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene from massive injuries sustained in the collision.

Koon refused treatment for a laceration on his arm.
