Early Tuesday Morning Accident Sends Two To The Hospital

Tulsa Police say at about 12:45 a.m., an eastbound car was turning south onto the U.S. 169 entrance ramp, when it was struck by a westbound truck.

TULSA, OK -- It took Tulsa firefighters about 40 minutes to free a driver from a car involved in an early Tuesday morning accident on 41st Street at U.S. Highway 169.

Tulsa Police say at about 12:45 a.m., an eastbound car was turning south onto the U.S. 169 entrance ramp, when it was struck by a westbound truck.

The driver of the car and the truck were both transported by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital with what Tulsa Police say was non-life threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
