Stroke Survivor Walking Across America Makes Stop In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- A stroke survivor on a special mission was in Tulsa Friday evening.

Mycle Brandy is walking across America to bring hope to other stroke survivors and to raise awareness. He said he wanted to do something 'spectacular' that would get people's attention.

"On the spur of the moment I decided I'd walk across America," Brandy said. "I didn't even tell my wife. She didn't talk to me for two days!"

Brandy started his walk in California on Valentine's Day. He hopes to reach Washington DC in October.
