Tulsa Driver Lands In Jail After Accident

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police arrested the driver of a mini-van after they found it had struck a sign pole on U.S. Highway 169 early Tuesday morning.

Police say the man was driving north on 169 when he tried to exit at the 51st Street exit.

The mini-van left the roadway and struck a sign pole at about 12:40 a.m.

After hitting the sign, the driver attempted to keep going, but the van lost a tire and got stuck.

The unidentified driver was arrested for public drunk and taken to the Tulsa County jail.
