Date Changed For Tom Petty Concert At BOK Center

TULSA, OK -- The BOK Center announced Wednesday that rocker Tom Petty will headline the venue's second anniversary celebration.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will perform September 23, not September 22, as originally announced.  Tickets still go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19.

The group's 2010 North American tour follows the release of Mojo, their first studio album in eight years.

Earlier in the week, BOK representatives said that the second anniversary concert would feature a rock and roll hall of fame honoree. The Heartbreakers were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers released their first album in 1976 and have sold more than 60 million records since that time.
