Henryetta Business Owner Shot To Death In His Home

HENRYETTA, OK -- A Henryetta businessman was found shot to death in his home Saturday, June 5, according to a news release from the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found the body of Delbert Linn Rodgers, known as Linn Rodgers, on the floor of his garage at about 4:32 p.m. They were called to the scene by the victim's girlfriend who also lived at the home in the 27000 block of South 185th Road, west of the Henryetta city limits.

Rodgers, 56, owned The Oil Pit at 210 North E. Street, an oil change auto service business.

Deputies are canvassing the neighborhood and requesting assistance from anyone who may have information on this crime. Call them at 918-756-4311.
