Tulsa Teenager Shot In Buttocks While Walking Down The Street

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting late Thursday night in North Tulsa. 

The victim, a 17-year-old, was taken to a Tulsa hospital. 

Police say the teen was walking down the street in the 1300 block of North Saint Louis just before 10 o'clock Thursday, when he says a car pulled up alongside him and the driver started shooting. 

The teen ran down the street and was shot once in the buttocks. 

"Possibly gang related as a lot of the Juarito Monachres are in this neighborhood. We don't know that our victim at this time is related in any gang activity," said Tulsa Police Captain Karen Tipler. 

Tulsa Police say the teen is expected to be okay.
