Obituaries Provide New Details Into IDs Of Collinsville Plane Crash Victims

While OHP has not released the names of the victims, according to the obituaries, 44-year-old Kevin Covell, and his mother died on Saturday. The plane was registered to Covell.

COLLINSVILLE, OK -- The News On 6 has new details in the deadly plane crash on Saturday in Collinsville.

The small, experimental aircraft went down in a Collinsville field, just outside the Airman Acres landing strip. 

While the Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not released the names of the two victims, according to the obituaries, 44-year-old Kevin Covell, and his mother, 84-year-old Charlotte Covell, died on Saturday. 

According to the FAA the plane was registered to Kevin Covell.

The NTSB and FAA are looking into the cause of the crash.
