1 head leaf lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
4 large Roma tomatoes, diced
1 red onion, sliced thinly
8 oz American cheese slices, cut into strips
1 cucumber, sliced
12 oz grilled chicken breast or steak cut into strips
Serves 4
Toss vegetables together in a large bowl. Scatter the cheese strips over the top. Arrange the grilled meat strips on top of salad.
Add dressing of choice such as BBQ Ranch dressing.
Serve with grilled Texas Toast
