Oklahoma Suspect In Alleged Rape Case Arrested In Washington State

GROVE, OK -- A man being sought by Grove Police they say was responsible for the first degree rape by instrumentation of a 14-year-old girl has been arrested in Washington state.

Police say Monday afternoon, 44-year-old Ted Laymon turned himself in after he called the Spokane, Washington Police Department.

Grove Police say family members talked Laymon into giving up.

Grove Police say the incident occurred March 16 on a county road in Delaware County.
