Oologah Meningitis Survivor Eating Solid Food, Playing Video Games

CINCINNATI, OH -- The condition of Oologah meningitis survivor Jeremiah Mitchell is rapidly improving. 

Jeremiah is able to eat solid food for the first time in more than two months.

Jeremiah's nurse at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Cincinnati tells The News On 6 he's able to play video games.

Although he had both of his arms and legs amputated, Jeremiah has figured out how to handle the controllers using his nubs. 

Jeremiah's final surgery in Cincinnati, a multi-hour long facial reconstruction, is scheduled for June 1st.
