TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa Public Schools' assistant principal accused of sexual abuse has bonded out of jail.

Robert Yerton bonded out of the Tulsa County jail just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Earlier Tuesday, a Tulsa County judge rejected Yerton's plea for a lower bond.

Yerton was not in Tulsa County District Court for Tuesday's bond hearing. But his attorney says the "unrelenting drumbeat for media attention" is to blame for a new allegation.

Tulsa Police added a fourth complaint Monday to the list Robert Yerton is already facing. They say after news broke of accusations against Yerton, another eight-year-old boy came forward.

Investigators say the boy told them the Skelly Elementary assistant principal touched him inappropriately on school grounds. That means three young boys have now accused Yerton of abuse, including another six year old Skelly student and a boy who's related to Yerton.

Tulsa Public Schools suspended Yerton about two weeks ago and they've started the process to fire him.

Yerton's attorney says his client absolutely denies any wrongdoing and he questions the credibility of the potential victims.

"I'm dealing with folks who want 15 minutes of fame. I'm dealing with folks who have old scores to settle," Richard O'Carroll, Defense Attorney said. "This isn't rocket science."

Robert Yerton is expected to be back in court Wednesday for his district court arraignment.
