TULSA, OK – Tulsa Police are investigating three pharmacy robberies that happened Friday morning. Police believe two of the robberies may be related.
Tulsa police say a man tried to rob the Drug Warehouse at 31st and Harvard. Police say the suspect handed a note with the word "drugs" on it to an employee. The suspect got away but didn't get any painkillers.
Investigators think he was the same man who robbed a Walgreen's at Houston and Elm in Broken Arrow later Friday morning.
He passed the same kind of note demanding medication, got the drugs, and left in a white Ford Taurus.
A third robbery happened Friday morning at the Barnes Drug Store in the 9700 block of East 31st Street.
Four men, ages 18-25, wearing hooded sweatshirts stormed into the store, according to police. Two of the suspects were armed with guns.
Robbery detectives say the men took cash and drugs.
They took off in an employee's car and left behind the stolen car they drove to the pharmacy.
The employee's car is described as a white Ford Explorer with a tag number of 890-GNJ, and the vehicle has an OU tag on front.
Anyone with information in the robberies should call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
