TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police arrested a 20-year-old Tulsa man in connection with an armed robbery Saturday night.
Marcus Lamell Thompson was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
Police say Thompson and two other suspects robbed two victims at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 11300 block of East 22nd Street.
The robbery victims told police two men, both armed, and an unarmed woman approached them, took cash and fled in a black Dodge Stratus with peeling paint. Officers located the car, which was positively identified by the victims and two witnesses.
They located Thompson by knocking on a nearby apartment door.
The two robbery victims and two witnesses positively identified Thompson as one of the armed robbers.
According to the police report, Thompson denied any involvement in the robbery. He is an ex-con on probation, the report notes.
