TULSA, OK -- A Green Country champion chef brings a Taste of Tulsa to Italy, and impresses judges with his Oklahoma Pizza.
The News On 6 met Mike Bausch back in 2008 at his restaurant "Andolini's" in Owasso.
He packed up only "Made in Oklahoma" ingredients, like Green Country tomatoes and Shawnee Mills flour, and took them to this year's "Pizza Olympics" in Northern Italy. He even brought milk from a Claremore dairy, and made his own mozzarella cheese, the first competitor to ever make cheese from scratch.
Mike's pizza placed in the top 100, out of 500 competitors from around the world.
