Tulsa Police Arrest Two Following Two Foot Chases

TULSA, OK -- Two men are in the Tulsa County jail after leading Tulsa Police officers on separate and unrelated foot chases in the 61st and Lewis area late Wednesday and early Thursday morning.

Police officers were attempting to stop a car at 59th and Lewis shortly after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, when a passenger jumped out of the car and ran into the London Square apartments.

A foot chase ensued and ended when officers subdued the man with pepper spray.

Meanwhile, the woman driving the car ran off during the foot chase and has not been found.

About an hour later, police received a call about a man with a gun at the Pomeroy Apartments at 67th and Lewis.

When officers arrived at the complex, they spotted a man running into the complex. Officers caught up with him after he fell and cut his hand.

No gun was found on the man.

In both cases, the men were taken to jail for outstanding warrants.
