BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The Broken Arrow Police Department wants to keep dangerous pills out of the hands of minors and out of water supplies.

That's why they are hosting a prescription drug drop-off.

Items should be submitted in the original containers for identification, although personal information should be crossed off. If this is not possible, you can submit the medication in clear bags. Medication could be current or expired or unwanted/no longer needed medications.

IV bags, needles, bloody or infectious waste, pharmaceutical waste not generated by households, radioactive pharmaceuticals or vaccines will not be accepted.

The prescription drug drop-off will be held April 30th, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Broken Arrow Community Center, 1500 South Main.
