TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa City Council will not expand the scope of their investigation to include Mayor Dewey Bartlett. The council met in executive session to consider changing their ongoing investigation, but ultimately decided not to make any changes.
The city council is investigating statements made by the Mayor's Chief of Staff, Terry Simonson, about a federal grant being used to pay police officers.
While the city council did not officially name the mayor as a point of the investigation, Council Chair Rick Westcott said Bartlett would be interviewed about Simonson.
