Hole In Bridge Deck On Downtown Tulsa Highway Prompts Repairs

TULSA, OK -- The eastbound I-244 off-ramp to eastbound State Highway 51 otherwise known as the Broken Arrow Expressway was closed for emergency deck repairs, following the discovery of a six-inch hole in the deck Thursday.

The section of road affected was on the southwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says crews made repairs and the ramp re-opened at about 4:30 p.m.
