TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police have arrested a 22-year-old man who's suspected of robbing the Kmart pharmacy at 10100 East 21st Street Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect's name is Christopher Thornton.
Police say the robbery happened shortly before 5 p.m. when a man wearing a beanie, black hoodie and eyeglasses approached the pharmacy counter and presented a note that stated he would start shooting if they did not give him Oxycotin and Xanax.
The pharmacist put the drugs in a bag and the man left the store.
A short time later Tulsa Police officer John Gillert saw man in a car who matched the suspect description.
He stopped the vehicle and a witnessed identified the driver as the robber.
He was arrested on an armed robbery complaint and booked into the Tulsa County jail.
