BARTLESVILLE, OK -- Bartlesville Police are investigating the unattended death of an infant in their community Wednesday morning.
Police said the child was four months old, but a family member has since told The News On 6 the child was only one month old.
Police were called out early Wednesday morning to a home in the city's northwest side.
Bartlesville Police Chief Tom Holland says a family member called 911 and said the child was not breathing.
Upon arrival at the home in the 500 block of Highland, officers found the infant dead.
Bartlesville Police have obtained a search warrant for the home and are interviewing people in connection with the case.
Holland says they believe the infant's mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were home at the time.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
