SAND SPRINGS, OK -- Three people are in custody in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store in Sand Springs overnight.
The robbery occurred at the Kum & Go at Charles Page Boulevard and Adams Road early Wednesday morning.
Police say two males, 21-year-old Carlos Oliver and 17-year-old Carlando Ruff entered the store, hit the clerk over the head with a gun, stole some cash and took off.
Police officers responded to the incident, and spotted the suspects' vehicle.
When the suspects got out and ran, police officers gave chase. Oliver, Ruff and a woman, identified as 19-year-old Janie Ledetpair were arrested after jumping into a nearby creek to get away. All were taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out before they were taken to the Sand Springs Police Department.
Sand Springs Police say the clerk was treated at the scene for his injuries.
