Tulsa, OK -- An historic Tulsa building is resurrecting its legendary past.
The Church Studio on South Trenton has reopened its doors to once again become a place where world-class music is made and heard.
The venue's new owners say they are just getting started, but they're excited about what's to come.
"Just to hear the music back in these just deaden walls that had been silent for so long just to hear the music come through these walls again and reverberate through them you can really feel that this is what it's for...this is what this building is meant for music," said Jacob Miller, Church Studio owner.
The historic building started out as a church in the early 1900s, and then was transformed into a recording studio in the ‘70s.
Music stars like Leon Russell and the Tractors were among the many to record there.
