Tulsa's Woodland Hills Armed Robbery Victim Speaks Out

TULSA, OK -- He says he made a big mistake and he says he should not have ignored the bad feeling his girlfriend said she had prior to the robbery which happened in the Woodland Hills mall parking lot on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim of a robbery in the Woodland Hills Mall parking lot was shopping for jewelry with his girlfriend on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, who we will call "John," does not want us to identify him.

"I noticed that there were two other guys that were looking at jewelry also but I really wasn't paying attention," said John.

One of the suspects wanted to buy a chain from him. Looking to make a quick buck "John" went outside with the men to the parking lot to sell them a free necklace he had received with his purchase.

"I was stupid for what I did. I went to the car. Hopped in the car, gave them the chain," John said.

"John" says his girlfriend already had a bad feeling about the situation.

"I kind of noticed that Maria. She was expecting something. Like she has that feeling that something was going wrong and that is when I should have stopped. I should have just kept going," John said.

The car took off in the parking lot. One of the men pulled a gun.

"He told me I was stupid for what I did and told me to take off my chain, and give him the earrings that I had on," John said.

They also took his shirt and shoes. Then they dropped him off at Goodwill. He quickly noted the license tag and ran to security.

"I just want my shoes and everything back because I don't know I just feel like I've lost everything because that's basically all I had," John said.

Tulsa Police arrested the four; two were identified as 23-year-old Julius Duffy and 18-year-old Kiaunte Williams. The other two are juveniles, a 16 and 17-year-old.

Police think all four might be involved in other robberies over the past few weeks.

The victim says he knows he made a mistake. He says in hindsight, he never would have talked with the men and would have just walked away.
