Would-be Tulsa Robbers Come Up Empty-Handed

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are looking for two men who tried to rob a woman in west Tulsa late Monday night. 

The victim told officers she was walking out the front door of her duplex in the 2000 block of South Phoenix just before 11 p.m. when two men approached and asked for her purse. 

She told police officers one of the men was armed, but police haven't said what kind of weapon he had.

Tulsa Police say the men then went inside the woman's duplex but couldn't get her purse, so they ran away. 

Four children were inside the duplex at the time of the incident. 

No one was hurt.
