Owasso Couple Faces Child Neglect Charges

OWASSO, OK -- A married couple from Owasso face charges after Owasso Police say they locked two adopted children out of the house.

Garold and Sherry McMillian face two charges of child neglect. Police found their daughter barefoot and shivering on the front porch. Their son was in a backyard fort, trying to escape the cold, wet weather, according to officers.

Police officers say the parents locked the adopted kids out while they took their biological children to dinner and to watch movies.
