Broken Arrow Elementary School Recognizes Veterans

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The Cougar Chorus led students in saluting veterans at Spring Creek Elementary in Broken Arrow. 

There were also patriotic readings and a demonstration in flag etiquette.

"I think it's very important that we recognize them and that we have understanding for the extreme job that they have to do,” said Dorothy Pickney, Spring Creek Elementary Principal.

Several Broken Arrow schools took part in Veterans Day activities and the statewide Celebrate Freedom week.
