TULSA, OK -- An online site has been set up to help the three Tulsa officers who were laid off and have not been rehired. Contributions can be made to help their families at http://www.firstgiving.com/tenfourministries.

"This fund is tax deductible so as your families make the end of the year decisions in reference to charity, please consider these three officers, all of whom are young, with young families, and one expecting a child," said Tulsa Police Captain Travis Yates.

An account called the 10-33/Officer Needs Assistance Fund has also been set up at the Fraternal Order of Police Credit Union. Donations made to that site are not tax deductible, Yates said.
