Publicity Helping With Pryor's Only Unsolved Homicide

Pryor police say that publicity from 'America's Most Wanted' has led to tips in their only unsolved homicide.

PRYOR, OK -- Pryor Police say having their most wanted fugitive on America's Most Wanted is paying off.

Thirty-four-year-old Alfonso Mondragon was placed on the show's Web site earlier this month. Police say he killed his ex-girlfriend five years ago and then disappeared.

Investigators have now received several tips from people claiming to have spotted Mondragon as far away as California and South Carolina.

The cold case is Pryor Police's only unsolved homicide.
