OKLAHOMA CITY -- When Sam Bradford made his comeback against Baylor Oct. 10, it wasn't just Sooner fans that were glad to see the Heisman Trophy winner back on the field.
"I'm glad he's back. He's healthy and ready to play again," said Longhorn senior quarterback Colt McCoy. "He's a great leader, a great quarterback."
It's common knowledge that these quarterbacks are friendly off the field, but the level of respect between signal callers goes deeper than that.
McCoy was one of the first to send Bradford words of encouragement after his week one injury. The Texas gunslinger knows all about being sidelined. He was knocked out of games not once, but twice in his freshman campaign.
