TULSA, OK -- Fire heavily damages a west Tulsa home overnight and a home in Catoosa is destroyed by fire.

The Tulsa fire occurred at a home in the 6200 block of South Vancouver at around 1:30 a.m.

Tulsa firefighters were delayed in getting to the house because they had to take an alternate route because of construction along Peoria near I-44.

The house was vacant.  An investigation into what caused the fire is underway.

Meanwhile, an early morning fire destroys a vacant home in Catoosa.

The Catoosa Fire Department responded shortly after 4 a.m. to the home at 19535 East 4th Street.

Fire officials tell The News On 6, firefighters have been to the home several times over the past.  Officials say there have also been threats made to burn the home down.

An initial investigation into the fire determined a propellant was found where the fire started.

An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
