Okmulgee Police Arrest Two In Shooting Death Of Tulsa Man

OKMULGEE, OK -- Okmulgee Police have two suspects in custody in the shooting death of 20-year-old Donte Norfleet of Tulsa.
Norfleet was shot while sitting in a vehicle at about 4:18 Monday afternoon near Randolph and Ohio Streets in Okmulgee. Two suspects were seen fleeing from the area. Norfleet was taken to a local hospital where he later died of his wounds.
Two Okmulgee men, 18-year-old Tyler Grant and 18-year-old Jimmy Lee Mitchell III, have been booked into the Okmulgee County Jail on counts of first degree murder.
It appears that the shooting was the result of a robbery gone bad, according to Joe Prentice of the Okmulgee Police Department.
