TULSA, OK -- Moderately cool temperatures and some showers are in store for most of Green Country over the next few days. The light rains of Sunday morning are expected to gradually move east with only a 20% chance of lingering showers by Sunday evening and overnight, according to News On 6 meteorologist Dick Faurot.

"Don't expect much, if any, sunshine for Monday either, but at least there is only a 20% chance of rain during the day," Faurot said. "Also, our winds will be from a more SE direction so we should be somewhat warmer than today."

The next system, with an associated cool front, is still on schedule for a Tuesday arrival with widespread showers/storms for Tuesday.
