TULSA, OK -- Herbert Eugene Hawkins, 42, of Tulsa was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Wednesday for drug trafficking and gun crimes.

Hawkins was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and forfeit $28,960 in cash and firearms, according to a release by acting U.S. Attorney Thomas Scott Woodward, Northern District of Oklahoma.

Hawkins was arrested in December of 2008 when a search warrant executed by the Tulsa Police Department revealed marijuana, cocaine, ammunition, digital scales, numerous weapons and $28,960 cash. 

Hawkins pled guilty to the charges.
