Tulsa Police: Speed A Factor In Overnight Traffic Crash

TULSA, OK -- An overnight Tulsa traffic crash caused a mess and sends a man to the Tulsa County jail. 

The accident happened around 1:20 a.m. near 29th Place and Cincinnati. 

Tulsa Police say a 21-year-old man was speeding as he headed south on Cincinnati. 

They say he apparently missed a stop sign and failed to make a slight curve on the roadway. 

That's when the man's pickup truck hit a fire hydrant and then a tree. 

The pickup truck came to rest in the front yard of a home. 

Tulsa Police say this is the suspect's second DUI arrest in seven weeks.
