TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police have released the name of the victim shot late Tuesday evening in the 3700 block of East Xyler.

Police say 55-year-old Reggie Wilson was found shot, lying in the street.

Witnesses tell Tulsa Police that a vehicle pulled up next to Wilson, who was walking in the street.  A verbal altercation occurred between the victim and the occupants of the vehicle. During the argument someone in the vehicle shot Wilson.

Police are now looking for a vehicle described as a 2001-2003 white Chevy Impala, with a black pinstripe. The car had a police style search light on the driver's door.

"There were several neighbors who either heard or saw at least some of it, but they were several feet, several yards away so they only saw part of it but we do have some cooperation," said Tulsa Police Captain Ryan Perkins.

Police are calling Joe Lorenzo Goodjoint a person of interest in the shooting. Goodjoint is described as a black male, 6'06" and 190 pounds. He was described as wearing a grey shirt, tan pants and black shoes.

Wilson was taken to a Tulsa hospital.  There is no report on his condition.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the shooting is ask to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
