TULSA, OK -- Four people were hurt in a south Tulsa car crash Tuesday evening. It happened just after 7 p.m. near 53rd and Lewis.
Tulsa Police tell The News On 6 the driver of a BMW was trying to make a left turn onto Lewis Avenue when it drove out in front of a southbound SUV. The driver of the SUV tried to swerve to avoid the car, lost control and struck a tree.
There were five people in the SUV and four of them had to be transported to the hospital. The driver was pinned in the vehicle for 40 minutes.
The driver of the other car was not injured.
