TULSA, OK -- A motorcycle was rear ended by a speeding Corvette at about 1 a.m. Sunday and ended up lodged in the vehicle's front bumper.

Witnesses said the motorcyclist "doing everything correctly" when he was rear ended by a black Corvette at about 3400 S. Highway 169 northbound, according to Sgt. Eric Nelson of the Tulsa Police Department.

"The black Corvette was doing in excess of 90 miles per hour and wearing in and out of traffic" when it hit the bike, Nelson said.

The motorcyclist was able to stay on the bike for a short time then was thrown from the motorcycle.

"He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries," Nelson said.

The Corvette driving was arrested for reckless driving and suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
