Bartlesville Man Pleads Guilty In Tulsa Corruption Case

TULSA, OK -- A Bartlesville man has pleaded guilty in a city of Tulsa corruption case.

Kenneth Shoemaker, 46, admitted in Tulsa federal court on Thursday, he paid a former city of Tulsa Public Works employee money to steer a city contract to his company, FBS, Inc. in Bartlesville.

That former Tulsa city employee, Albert Martinez pleaded guilty in the case last month.

Back in April, a Tulsa businessman, Larry Baker pled guilty to paying bribes to a city employee. 

Shoemaker faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000 when he is sentenced in federal court on December 14.
