GLENPOOL, OK -- An investigation is underway into a deadly hit and run accident involving a pedestrian in Glenpool.
Glenpool Police tell The News On 6 that a man was struck and killed by an older model white car that was driving southbound on Highway 75, near 138th Street. It happened shortly after 9 o'clock on Friday night.
Police say the driver did not stop after striking the man.
The victim was reportedly trying to cross the highway when he was struck by the first vehicle. He was then struck a second time by a car full of juveniles. They were the ones who contacted the police.
"They were really upset," said Glenpool Police Dispatcher Darren McCaslin.
