TULSA, OK -- Man's best friend enjoyed a big treat Sunday in Tulsa.

The city's pools have closed for the season, so the parks department turned the pools over to pets.

Packs of pooches dove into the pool at McClure Park, but organizers say not everyone wanted to get wet.

"You have some dogs that really, really enjoy the water, others that aren't too sure about it, others that try and escape," said Ronda Freiner of Tulsa Parks.

Dog owners said most of the pups loved the water.
