Employees Foil Armed Robbery At Tulsa Sinclair Station

A masked man fired a gun at the door of a Sinclair Gas Station after employees locked themselves inside during a robbery.

TULSA, OK -- A man is wanted for armed robbery and firing a weapon at victims after a Sinclair Station at 81st and Sheridan was robbed at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Tulsa.

Employees say they were taking a smoke break when a man dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask approached them with a gun, demanding money. The employees ran into the store and locked the door behind them.

The suspect fired the gun at the door then ran off, fleeing to the north. He was unsuccessful in robbing the store.

Police are reviewing the surveillance tapes and investigating the armed robbery.
