TULSA, OK -- Voters had an opportunity to meet the candidates over a cold one.
Inspired by President Obama's recent use of so-called beer diplomacy to settle a dispute, the Beer Summit and Political Mixer was touted as a relaxed opportunity for voters to get to know the candidates for mayor and city council.
"When we have an organization like this that we can all come up and talk to them and show our points of view they can understand what we're looking for as citizens of Tulsa," said Tulsa voter Rob Mitchell.
Dozens of people showed up for the mixer at the Flytrap Music Hall near 2nd and Greenwood. The primary election is about three weeks away.
