GRAND LAKE -- Hundreds of people flooded Grand Lake bright and early Saturday morning to bob for bobbers.
Sam Williams owns The Grand Lake Sports Center. He flew over the lake, dropping 5,000 fishing bobbers into the water.
The bobbers are filled with goodies worth more than $20,000 all together. And there's a wide range of prizes from livestock to a diamond ring.
Even those that aren't instant winners are worth something. You can turn them in for a chance at a trip for two to the Bahamas.
Sam's grandfather started the bobber drop in the ‘60s.
Now, Sam is looking to bring back that tradition. He's already making plans for next year.
