TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in which the victim was shot multiple times.
Police officers were called at about 11 p.m. Monday to the St. Thomas Square Apartments at 1050 East 61st Street.
Tulsa Police say someone had broken into an apartment and demanded money from the resident. When the resident refused to give up his money, police say the victim was shot several times.
"The victim then said I work hard for my money; I'm not giving you anything. Then two additional black males appeared in the doorway, and that's when he was shot about six times in his limbs," said Tulsa Police Captain Travis Yates.
The victim was taken to a Tulsa hospital. Police say the victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A woman was also in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but she was not hurt.
No one has been arrested.
