Attempted Overnight Armed Robbery In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are still looking for a suspect who attempted to rob a man overnight in the 7400 block of East 48th Street.

The incident happened shortly before midnight.

Police officers were already in the area when they received the call about the attempted robbery.

Police say a man was walking across an apartment complex's parking lot when he was approached by a man from behind.

The victim told police, the suspect hit him in the back with a pistol. The suspect then demanded money but the victim said he didn't have any money.

The suspect then ran away.
