Woman's Body Found Near Cherokee Co. Pond Identified

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities have identified a woman found dead beside a pond in Cherokee County.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said the body of 38-year-old Donna Dulen of Stilwell was discovered Tuesday evening next to a pond in a rural area west of Tahlequah.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the death is suspicious, but an autopsy revealed no signs of trauma to the body that would indicate foul play.

Brown says a final determination on the cause of death can't be made until toxicology results are completed.

She says fishermen discovered the woman's body and notified authorities.
